I had a local shoot for a bike shop/performance shop Friday, got to shoot in an amazing place - a scrap yard. Plenty of rusty items laying around that flowed quite well with the bike. There's nothing worse than going to a place like that and seeing plenty of old cars buried in the grass, rotting away. Cars that could've been saved.

BMWhite
I have a few favorite paint colors to photograph on vehicles; white, black, gray, and silver are at the top of the list. White with silver wheels has to be the most favorable, of course white is such a clean color to begin with - it looks good on just about anything.

S8 Detail
The S8 needed some love in the paint department. I gave my friend - who owns the car - a hand with a quick detail. With a little time spent buffing, rubbing with a clay bar, and a coat of wax the paint looked much better than it did before.

Random Photo: Nissan GTR
I get asked frequently why I wanted to shoot this particular vehicle in a graveyard of all places. To me its a very fitting location for this GTR, being that its black on black on black. The location brings out the evil in the car...afterall, the Grim Reaper doesn't wear a white hooded robe.

Drift Faction July 15th
There's nothing like the smell of freshly cooked rubber on a warm July afternoon.
See all the images from this July 15th event here.
The Audi S8
This 2001 Audi S8 is owned by a good friend of mine. With simple modifications such as ST coilovers and MRR 20X9.5 +40 wheels with Falken 452 255/35-20 rubber at all four corners, to me it couldn't look any better.
Taking my time shooting this car made me really remember why I love shooting. It was great to roll around to different spots and just shoot for the fun of shooting. No time limits. No stress.
